OUTDOOR WORKSHOP
A Forest Bathing Experience
The real solution to sustainability begins with mindfulness.
In today’s fast-paced and constantly connected world, many of us operate on autopilot, moving from one task to another without pause. Over time, this leads to mental fatigue, reduced clarity, and a growing sense of disconnection.
While nature can thrive without us, we depend on it for everything, from clean air to our mental wellbeing. Yet, our disconnection from both the natural world and our inner selves continues to shape how we think, act, and make decisions, often resulting in stress, imbalance, and unsustainable patterns of living.
Rebuilding this connection through mindfulness allows us to slow down, gain clarity, and respond more consciously. In doing so, we begin to form the foundation for more intentional, balanced, and sustainable ways of living in both our work and daily lives.
Practicing Mindfulness for Sustainability introduces forest bathing (shinrin-yoku), a Japanese mindfulness practice that encourages deep, sensory engagement with nature.
This is not a hike or a fitness activity. It is a guided, structured experience designed to help you slow down, reconnect, and become more present.
Through guided reflection and nature-based practices, participants will not only experience the benefits of mindfulness, but also explore what sustainability truly means, beyond policies and performance metrics.
You will be gently guided to:
Mindfulness is the practice of being fully present and aware, without judgement. In the context of modern working life, where demands are high and attention is constantly divided, mindfulness helps to restore clarity and balance.
By cultivating mindfulness, you may begin to:
These qualities support not only personal wellbeing, but also how we navigate work, relationships, and everyday challenges.
This experience is designed to be gentle, reflective, and accessible, requiring no prior background in mindfulness or nature-based practices.
Participants often leave the session with:
Rather than striving to achieve something, this session invites you to slow down, observe, and simply be present.
This is a guided, small-group forest bathing session, designed for depth and quality.
During the session, you will:
This is not about achieving something.
It is about creating space to observe, reconnect and reset.
This session is designed for:
Whether you are new to mindfulness or seeking to deepen your practice, this experience provides a structured and supportive environment.

With experience in ESG projects, sustainability training, and stakeholder engagement, she combines mindfulness with nature-based practices to deliver impactful learning experiences. This workshop is designed for anyone who is interested in practicing mindfulness and gaining a deeper understanding of how personal wellbeing contributes to the wellbeing of the planet.
This workshop will help the participants enhance their mood and reduce stress. They will learn useful mindfulness techniques to use in daily life. Additionally, they will gain a better understanding of sustainability by reconnecting with nature.
The workshop lasts for 2.5 hours. Afterwards, we typically enjoy breakfast together. Feel free to join us if you’re available.
You don’t need to prepare anything. Just come with a relax and empty mind. You are encouraged to wear comfortable attire for the session and bring a water bottle with you.
There are some activities that will encourage you to get close and get in touch with the ground and trees. But no worries, you will not get muddy or soaky-wet like hiking 😉
